The SO is a remarkably compact end-forming machine for simple production needs while still maintaining high precision. Available in 5, 8, and 16 tons, the SO is capable of performing a maximum of four steps in one cycle. Its unparalleled compactness makes it easy to move, to integrate into new or existing work cells, to maintain, and to change tools and parts. The industry-standard Profinet communication protocol is utilized for data collection and machine control. This machine is equipped with an adjustable tube positioning system that contains a tube presence sensor. For an intuitive operator-machine interaction, this machine is fitted with a touch screen panel with electronic function. The SO is designed to integrate into the Smart Factory system.
