170MHE

The 170MHE is the single-stack version of the 170HE. The 170MHE is a completely electric tube-bending machine designed to process mild-steel tubes with a diameter and a thickness of up to 170mm and 12mm, respectively, using Direct Drive technology. Its 9 axes with Fully Electric Technology are managed by Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl for maximum precision. The 170 MHE is equipped with the latest generation absolute servomotors with integrated feedback and diagnostics, The machine’s rigidity and precision renders it ideal for heavy-duty processing of tubes with a relatively large thickness (6” sch.80). Despite its massive dimensions, the 170MHE like other machines in the Heavy BWT series, uses Green Power to achieve extremely low energy consumption. Furthermore, 170MHE is ergonomically designed with the operator’s comfort in mind. The operator can interact intuitively with the machine using the three-dimensional graphical sofware on a 19” LCD touch screen to program, simulate and optimise the tube bending programs. This machine is also designed to be integrated into the Smart Factory system.
