SMALL1R

The SMALL1R is a CNC tube bending machine that is the reversed layout of the SMALL1 with an unloading phase. Its reduced size fits easily into production lines or integrated work cells. Like other machines from the Small series, SMALL1R has a completely automatic work cycle for aluminium tubes with a diameter of up to 20 mm. Just like the SMALL1, it can be equipped simultaneously with different tools with different radii and clamping. The SMALL1R’s bending direction, left or right, can be reconfigured manually depending on the production requirement. The machine’s 5 axes are actuated by digital motors with Fully Electric technology, which are managed by Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl, while the clamps are electro-pneumatic. The use of this technology ensures quality, saves energy, minimises set-up/start-up times and scraps. The efficiency of the machine is guaranteed by the dynamics of the plane positioner which limits component damage in case of accidental collision. Like other Small series machines, SMALL1R also features a high production speed and the possibility to accomodate a broad array of accessories for specific and unusual jobs. The ability to produce bends with CLR/DIA ratio of even lower than 0.8 makes this machine particularly suitable for sectors requiring an accelerated production rate and high repeatability. This tube bending machine has a three-dimensional graphical sofware on a 19” LCD touch screen for the operator to interact intuitively with the machine. The UII “User ISO Interface” facilitates programming, simulation, and optimisation of the bending programs. The SMALL1R is designed to integrate into the Smart Factory system.
