CNC tube bending machine with a fully automatic cycle

The biomedical sector is known for its requirement of extreme precision and repeatability. Another requirement is flexibility, deriving from a vast variety of individual biometric data and from the use of biocompatible materials, such as titanium-costly and difficult to cold bend. Given the reduced length of the pieces to bend, the optimisations of cycle time, space, and industrial ergonomics are essential to an efficient solution. The 825VE is CRIPPA’s tailored solution for the medical sector and all other mandrel-less processes for short tubes with a diameter of up to 25 mm. The distinctive vertical design takes up minimum floor space, while maintaining the characteristics of CRIPPA’s linear series of similar size. The 8 “Fully Electric” axes controlled by Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl offer unique ergonomics and high precision. Multistack and multiradius, the machine can be equipped simultaneously with tools with different radii, clamping, and bending form, as well as a thrust-bending device. The machine ’s intrinsic characteristics render it ideal for automated work cells and “Smart Factory” production.
