The 932LE tube bending machine of the Linear series is suitable for tubes with a diameter of up to 32mm and has all the features of this line. The frame has a standard length of 4450mm, but can be extended with or without the recovery cycle. The bending head with a chain-driven transmission provides spacious room under the head of the machine. This feature together with its small size allows the machine to bend tubes with complex geometries with a single cycle, which would normally require a double bending direction. If necessary, the operator can quickly reconfigure the bending direction manually. Despite its compactness, the 932LE can be fitted with different tools with different radii and clamping. The horizontal dynamics of the plane positioner protect the machine by limiting damage to a minimum in the event of collisions. The axes move on linear guide rails and recirculating ball carriages, which minimises wear and improves reliability in comparison with the traditional engineering solutions. The 932LE also has 9 axes driven by absolutely digital electric motors with Fully Electric technology controlled by Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl. The machine can produce bends with a CLR/DIA ratio even less than 0.8 at a high production speed. Using the UII (User ISO Interface) three-dimensional graphical software on the 19” LCD touch screen, the operator can interact with the machine easily and intuitively. The 932LE is also designed to be integrated into Smart Factory system.
